The Citizen CZ-01 is the latest addition to the Citizen family of photo / dye-sublimation printers. Designed with portability in mind, this model is extremely compact and lightweight, making it a great choice for mobile photo booth setups, events, and on-site photo printing.
Compared to the Citizen CY-02, the CZ-01 is significantly smaller and easier to transport, weighing only 5.8 kg – around 8 kg less than the CY-02. It also requires far less space, using only 31% of the volume and 44% of the footprint of the CY-02, which makes it ideal for setups where space is limited.
The printer features several modern innovations, including Anti-Curl technology, which helps prevent photo curling and ensures consistently flat, professional-looking prints.
In addition to standard photo sizes such as 5×10 cm, 10×10 cm, and 10×15 cm, the CZ-01 also supports extended formats including 5×11 cm, 11×11 cm, and 11×20 cm (16:9 ratio), offering more creative flexibility for events and photo booth applications.
As part of the next generation of Citizen photo printers, the CZ-01 includes a standard USB interface with integrated USB power output, allowing you to conveniently charge devices such as smartphones, tablets, or external accessories. Drivers are available for both Windows and macOS, and a Software Development Kit (SDK) is provided for seamless integration into professional photo booth and imaging software.
